Novilunio, the Italian term for 'new moon', is a world fusion music project featuring vocalist/pianist Elizabeth Setzer and multi-instrumentalists Laura Inserra and Evan Fraser. Their respective musical influences, which include jazz, minimalism, and traditional music from Africa, the Balkans and the Caucasus region, combine to create a new unique sonority - rooted in tradition yet connected to the contemporary world.
